shareI think this is one of the greatest films ever made. It blew me away when I was a teenager and it still does every time I watch it. To each his own but I can't see how anyone could think this film sucks, The set direction alone is absolutely brilliant. I just saw La la land and it's complete crap compared to this.
shareThis movie is divisive. It's not for everyone. No one is wrong in liking it or not. Good story but I didn't enjoy it very much. But I can see the appeal if you're into musicals.
Had this movie come out in the 60s or 70s, it would be a classic by now (and I think it is to a lesser degree)
