Why aren't Once and Again and thirtysomething available on streaming?

Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz's two ABC hits are missing on streaming. It's unclear why Once and Again, which aired from 1999 to 2002, and thirtysomething, which from 1987 to 1991, aren't easily available to stream. In fact, the entirety of Once and Again isn't available on DVD. “It’s such a good show!” says Evan Rachel Wood, who starred on Once and Again as a child actor, in an interview with Variety. “I rewatched it as an adult, and as a divorced parent. And could not get off of my sofa. I knew it was a good show when I was on it, but I really understood it as an adult.” She adds: “I almost emailed Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz just to say, ‘Hey, so what’s the deal? When are we going to get this on Netflix? Like, what’s going on?'" Zwick says he gets emails all the time, especially from thirtysomething star Peter Horton, questioning why the show isn't available. "Once and Again was produced by Touchstone Television, which is now ABC Studios," reports Variety's Kate Aurthur. "Repeated attempts to speak with someone there who makes these kinds of decisions — especially now that ABC Studios has a streaming arm in Hulu — were met with failure. Nor would MGM, the studio that produced thirtysomething, offer any answers about why that show is digitally AWOL."

It's totally bizarre. I have the first two seasons on DVD but of course season three was never released. I just don't understand it. The fact that there isn't even an explanation for not bringing out the last season on DVD leads me to believe that there is some bloody mindedness at the bottom of it. They won't even make it available for streaming which is inexcusable in my book.
