I'm just gonna ask this...

Hopefully those who are reading a message board about this movie won't be offended, at least not too much, so I'm just gonna ask- is it common for women in Italy and the surrounding regions to go unshaved as they are in this movie? I only ask because in all the porn I've seen in the last 15 or so years, regardless of country of origin, the majority of the women are shaved there, likewise are those who've exposed that part of themselves in more mainstream films. (And for the record, the women I've been intimate with here in America have been shaved as well.) As previous comments here attest, it's easy to mistake "Trasgredire" for being made in the 1980s, even though it has a 2000 copyright date!

I have not been to Italy nor have I seen any other recent Italian movies with this much nudity, so I can't use those for comparison. I'm just wondering if what's shown in this movie is the norm there, or if Tinto Brass insisted everyone appear unshaved.

the majority of european women are shaved or at least trimmed. i can't speak for all obviously, but mostly they are as it's a common and ongoing trend (like in most other places as well)

it is common in europe to not shave the legs, pits and pubic regions.
most of tinto brass movies the women arent shaved i think it also adds
to the censorship (the much needed censorship so the movie wont be banned or rated X)

Tinto just like them unshaved. But it's not common anyhow. Now, in 2013, most girls in Russia are perfectly clean in pubic area.

I think you will find the majority but not all women in Japan and Korea do not shave the pubic region to this day. Personally I prefer a full bush with nothing more than a bikini trim. This movie and MS in Last Tango In Paris are more appealing than in most movies I can think of actually.

This movie was made when women were allowed to look like grown women.

I can't believe you asked such an offensive question here
