Basically killed Val Kimer's career as a leading actor

I remember watching this at the theater and when the ending came and the credit's started rolling I stood up and said "welp, that's the end of Val Kilmer's career". My friend said "you got that right".
Obviously he still made movies but the "A" list roles never came his way again.

Seemed like there were a lot of Mars related movies out in the early 2000s.
