that's not a knife

"....that's a knife", the creators of family guy must really like that line, that particular dialogue from crocodile dundee has been referred to at least three times now, first in an episode years ago where crocodile dundee appeared as a cartoon walking into their kitchen, followed by the comment from peter i never quite understood, but my only guess is it seemed to be he thought one movie was enough, which makes you wonder how they keep notice of reviews from that australian franchise, because that's a general review, now i just saw a brand new 2018 episode premiere where that "knife" line was referred to twice in the same episode, first by stewie then later by peter again as in the original gag in an older episode, these re occurring spoofs of an australian 1980's movie is just plain weird, it's about the most well known movie ever in the european country where i live, and ever since i was a kid people around me has repeated that line, but that has got to be an obscure reference for family guy's domestic audience as i don't think foreign movies usually break through in the same way over there as in european countries for example, i always knew of movies made in africa or australia, as the case with crocodile dundee, sometimes can become a major phenomenon. like, paul hogan should've just stuck to making crocodile dundee flicks since it's left such an impact while his other few roles have just come and gone with a whisper. "keep 'em comin', skippy.".
