Now would be a great time for TRL to be back!

I really wish MTV would bring TRL back. I actually didn't have a problem with it. I loved the show and the guests that would come on. I would have loved to see how "Single Ladies" would have done on the countdown, I would have wanted to see Britney Spears go on now, and LADY GAGA they would have loved her. I really wish they would bring this show back. Alexa Chung is NOT TRL. Bring it back!!!! It really went hand in hand with the music industry, I don't know why they cancelled it. TRL was a great tool for promotion because it exposed Urban music to the Pop audience and vice versa. I hope in the coming years, MTV brings back TRL.

I know what you mean. I kind of wish that TRL was back. I always wonder how certain videos would have done on the countdown.

TRL was great while Carson Daly hosted. He always had chemistry the artists that went to the studio. At least that's how I remember it

Anyways, I don’t think the show would work today because of the on-demand culture. TRL worked because people didn’t have other venues to see their favorite music videos. Today, people could just go on YouTube, so they won’t bother with a countdown
