In that new hospital drama on NBC, Chicago Med, there's an asian/black couple in it. Played by Brian Tee and Cynthia Addai-Robinson, sure, Brian's character isn't Chinese but Korean, it shows that there has been some progress on the Asian male/any-other-ethnicity female pairings in mainstream TV. As well as how Asian males are portrayed in media overall now.

That is because Hollywood deliberately promotes interracial marriage always with White people for some reason. Other combinations of interracial couples are rarely shown at all.
sharethis is very true! thankfully a lot more people are raising awareness to that issue. hopefully we'll see a change. it's like the media thinks the only way to portray an interracial romance is white with nonwhite.
