Scenes that make you cringe.

Playing Deacon's painful relationship with his abusive father for laughs in "Alter Ego". Why was that supposed to be funny? Made no sense. That was one disjointed episode but at least Spence was shown to be cared for by Doug who usually treats him like the bottom of his shoe.

Doug and Carrie being so cruel and uncaring to that dog in "Ruff Goin'. They were established as dog lovers early on so it was way out of character.

Carrie putting the pregnancy stick that she peed on the living room table for Arthur to find in "Ovary Action" Ew.

A lot of cringey scenes on that show, most of them like the premise of "Trash Talker" were pretty hilarious, though.

I agree with you about the episode, "Ruff Goin'." Also, I didn't like it when Carrie was sick, and had Holly cooking for her, and then when Holly got sick, Carrie didn't care, and still made her do stuff for her.

Carrie also took advantage of her good nature just so she could use her van in "Home Cheapo". She was pretty horrible to her as a rule and so it was fun to see Holly mock her in "Arthur, Spooner".

Kelly never took any guff from Carrie, thankfully. She stood up for herself on a regular basis. Holly had low self esteem and let people walk all over her all the way up to the final show. It was sad to watch.

I can't believe I forgot about Arthur creepily pawing at an unwilling Spence in "Home Cheapo" like he was making a pass at him, LOL.

Bizarre but somehow still funny.

The self hate from Carrie and Doug when they called themselves "honkies" on a Thanksgiving episode.
