The movie draws most heavily from the Silver Age Stan Lee/Steve Ditko stories of the 1960s, but also incorporates more contemporary elements from the Ultimate Spider-Man series.
I'd argue that it drew next to nothing from the Ultimate Spider-Man series, and was only loosely based on the Lee/Ditko era. It was by and large a color-by-numbers superhero film that loosely followed Spider-Man's origin story, but for the most part could have been any hero. It was only because he wore a Spider-Man costume and called himself Spider-Man that it was a Spider-Man movie.
