Any love for the soundtrack album?

As a teenager who was into all forms of metal in 1998, I was really into this soundtrack (being tied to a movie I also loved definitely helped as well).

I was huge on White Zombie and Type O Negative at the time, and "Love You To Death" in particular just fits the movie so well (even if it didn't actually appear in said movie). Meanwhile I was introduced to nu-metal favorites Powerman 5000 and Static-X via this release, which is to say nothing of Coal Chamber's track, which is, to this day, the only song of theirs I still enjoy. Slayer give one of their more worthy '90s tracks here, and I was surprised at how much I loved the Halford-less Priest track (to this day, that song still rips). See You In Hell also may be my all-time favorite Monster Magnet tune, and its usage in the movie is absolutely spot-on.

Anyone else jam this back in the day?

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

Yeah, you summed up my experience pretty much (though I was a little older). I already owned Hellbilly Deluxe, so the exclusion of Living Dead Girl wasn't much of a bother. So many good tracks on that album.

This movie has one of the best soundtracks ever! I was also a teenage metalhead around the time this came out and fondly remember rocking out to these great tunes for the first time.

Great soundtrack! Boogie King by Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies is a great song to close things out.

The intro song of the film, Living Dead Girl, is what originally hipped me up to Rob Zombie. Which discovering Rob Zombie, eventually lead to me discovering other types of rock / metal bands. The film definitely had a cool soundtrack.

Living Dead Girl is still a sweet, sweet track.
