Was The Queen Alien kinda falling for Zeke?

They had some pretty intimate moments together where no one else was around like in the storage room where they kissed, and she never tried to turn him. And her reactions to Zeke looked genuine, even in moments when he would walk off and she was alone you could see her face still kinda looking like she was into him.

I think it was more of a red herring to throw the audience off from possibly guessing her to be one of the aliens, let alone the queen. Or maybe she was able to mate due to being the queen - the others didn't seem to have any emotions after getting "converted".
