I love it! It's a good variation on the psycho, hand that rocked the cradle theme.
The performances from the two leads are great, as are their characters.
I love how she is visited/wound up by the ghost of her dead mother.

Reminds me of a low key tv versionThe King of Comedy.
I didn't understand why she buried her mother though. Why not just call the authorities? She was in ill health anyway so nobody would have suspected any foul play. (This happens near the start of the film so I'm not wrecking the story!).
