Favorite line or scene?

I just loved the whole elevator-church thing, but there were several other good ones in this movie. What´s your favorite line or scene?

Oh, and by the way, what were "I love Lucy" and Troy´s answer to it about? I just didn´t get it...

Such a nice movie. I watch it pretty frequently. I love all the lines/scenes others have posted, plus these:

Troy: Gentleman coward

Calvin: There's something on your forehead.
Melker: I know.

"Leave my elevator alone" (repeat).
Love Chris Walken pacing out his new fallout shelter.
"Of my lucky stars, a Negro!"
When Adam sings "On the street where you live" to Eve. <sigh...>

"Our love will last til the stars turn cold." ~Singin' in the Rain

The dance. By far and away, the swing with the two women is my favourite scene. I previously never knew it was possible for a man to be smokin' hot AND adorable at the same time. But now I know lol and it just encapsulates Adam perfectly!

Who taught you grammar? Badly's an adverb!

when melker & his friend are in the abandoned bar & he's listing off all the various rehab programs:

friend:there's a heroin anonymous?

melker:would you please...SHUT UP!

I loved the whole scene with the bellhop at the holiday inn.

Adam I guess living up here makes you look older
Bellhop up here on the 19th floor.

I don't know if I got the whole scene correctly but it was so funny the look on the bellhop's face.

In short, the scene that follows after Adam says:

'Cliff, I must warn you. I know how to defend myself.'

There is really nothing about this movie that I DON'T like. All of the above are great. I laugh out loud when Adam gets the phone call from Eve at the hotel and says "Thanks for calling me on the telephone." He's so enthusiastic and genuine that it makes the scene great.

A few brilliant lines stand out for me.

Calvin :- "Bring her on Dooooown"

Adam :- "Excuse me Cliff, but aren't you just a butt with hair?"

Eve :- "For $4000 all I have to do is drive you to the hotel?
Adam :- "Yes"
Eve :- "and I don't have to take a physical in your spaceship?
Adam :- "No (pause) What?"

Calvin :- "Our evil empire has collapsed Poor us!"

FBI Investigator: - (about Calvin's hot Dr Pepper) "He drank it hot?... Good God!"

Others elude me at this time, but I shall post more as and when they revisit the ivory dome.

I just watched this movie the other night. My favorite line is when Eve and the moving guy are watching Adam load the truck. The moving guy says to Eve: "Why would anyone need 26 yacht batteries?" in the most whitebread of accents imaginable.
