I just noticed a goof!

In the flashback prom scene about 20 minutes in, a girl in the A group goes on stage to announce the prom king and queen. She's wearing a peach dress with little white flowers and her blond hair is in curls. The goof is....when she goes to open the envelope with the winners' names, the character/actress is wearing gloves and the envelope doesn't open! The actress just turns it over and says the names, even though it's the outside of the envelope and the same thing the audience has been seeing.

Never noticed that but I did notice when they first acquired the car from Ramone, as they're packing up to leave in the car, there's a Krups coffee maker box in the backseat. Then, as Romy closes the trunk and gets back in the car, the box is not there anymore.
Why was there a coffee maker in the backseat to begin with??
