the hair transplants were distracting

why do men do this ??

reply

Who are you talking about? Robert Forster?

reply

The Max Cherry character - he mentions it in the movie but I noticed it long before.

His plugs were really that distracting to you? It just looked like thinning hair to me. He even had a big bald spot at the back of his head. Foster seems to have a problem with his hair loss, but he's been pretty open about. The guy's an actor, sometimes a balding head just doesn't look as good. We can't all be like Mitch Pileggi!

Samuel L. Jackson's extensions were way more distracting to me!

reply

looks like mini posts stuck in his head.

reply

Lol, I don't think it looked that bad in this movie. It does look bad nowadays. Yikes!

So what did you think of the movie?

reply

It was a good crime movie. Pam Grier's acting was the weakest part. I saw it for the first time about four months ago.

reply

She had some weak moments, but I thought she was okay for the most part. Her coolness made up for it. I think it's very much underrated, I consider it one of Tarantino's best.

reply

and De Niro was great in a very subdued role.

reply

I was thinking the same thing. He played a different role than he usually does.

reply

De Niro is gold in this one!

reply

He got a lot of laughs from the audience I was with tonight.
