Obvious to you but not to most of us.
Which, by the way, Tarrintino learned from writers and directors like Robert Towne, David Mamet, Barry Levinson, Alan Pakula and Robert Altman.

I guess you can say the characters in Jackie Brown talk like... real people. And it's great.
