Funny that someone should bring up this topic. I just saw the trailer to this movie on a VHS of another movie from that year, and I had never heard of it. Yet I was struck by how attractive Garafolo looked in the coming attractions. I thought, "You saucy minx, I'd like to bang the socialism out of you."

Because Garafolo has a pretty face and is curvy. I read a study five or six years ago that showed that when displayed two outlines of a body, sans face, more men tended to prefer Garafolo's shape over Uma Thurman's taller and slimmer figure. I'm not sure if they used any others, those were the two mentioned in the article.

i agree, this was the first time i saw her smile and laugh freely without a hint of sarcasm or sardonicism--it was quite a departure and very refreshing. in other words, i'd do her.

Janeane is very cool, confident and funny which makes her sexy. I've loved her since Larry Sanders. I liked her in this film, Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion, Truth about Cats and Dogs, Reality Bites, etc. etc. etc and of course as her "perfect" girlfriend to Jerry Seinfeld who kissed Jerry on Passover (see the blooper reel!). LOL I would be doing the same thing, "Oh my gosh!! I'm kissing Jerry Seinfeld!!!!"
