Did Billy's father molested Layla?

Come on its apparent, he was looking at her boobs the entire time

My devil danced with his demon and the fiddler tune is far from over.

He was perving over her that's for sure, dirty bugger, can't say I blame him though so that makes me a dirty pervert as well.

He didn't "molest" her but he definitely made the most out of that hug. Can't say I'm mad at him. lol Team_DOM ftw

Back off! ... Way off!

He would have if he could have.

She was very good (very experienced?) at repelling the advances of a perv like this guy.

There was a certain point, after the Dad had sung, that he tried to take her hand. And if she had allowed it, something unpleasant probably would have happened. But she didn't. She had just the right instincts to handle this situation. It had probably happened in her own family.

One of the funniest/craziest things about that scene is how totally unscripted it looks.

reply

Well, he was definitely being a little creepy about her being there. lol

But no, all that aside...he did not molest her.

reply

While nothing sexual happens with her his inappropriateness tells us he was more than willing if the situation allowed for it.

Made no difference to him if it was his son's wife. He did not give a damn about his son anyway.

I was hoping the movie ending would be Billy killing his parents. The world would be better without the 2 of them. Great casting by the way with Huston and Gazzara.
