Was Hollywood racism the reason for a non-romance?

Jackson is a talented and popular actor, so is bankable, but very rarely in America are interracial relationships shown as the topic, or even sub-plots, of major films?

In the USA, can't show a black man passionately kissing etc with a white woman?

That is not an example of racism by Hollywood. It's supply & demand. The cold hard truth is that audiences (society) are not comfortable with it-- and that still is not racism, but human nature.
However, people can kiss and make love to whoever they want. That should be enough, instead of complaining that celluloid does not represent exactly depict everything.. . People try so hard to find something to feed their self-entitlement.
