Did busmalis have his sentence extended 2 things that don't make sense.

2 things that completely DON'T make sense on this show are with 2 prisoners.

One is busmalis was sentenced to 10 years with parole after 5, in season 6 Bob says he still has 12 years to go in Oz. I can only think it was extended after digging the hole. ??

then we have Miguel who had a parole hearing.. yes he got a parole hearing after killing 2 inmates . one of them pretty much murder (so even escaped death row) and the other blinded a CO.

Why the hell wasn't he sentenced to life after that? he should never even have got the Parole come up! Vern got a extra 10 years for conspiracy to commit murder for crying out loud.

It was like they had to put in all these plots because the actor kept having to leave the show and by season 5 they said 'lets just pretend none of that happened let him out of solitary as some excuse.

Yes, Busmalis must've received an additional sentence since he dug a tunnel and escaped. I think he went to see Miss Sally didn't he?

Also, I think both guys Alvarez were in self defense..for sure Vasquez was out to kill Miguel on Guerra's orders so slashing Vasquez at least saved his own life even though it got him in solitary.
