Would Anyone Feel Sorry for Stu if His Parents Yelled at Him?

He said on the phone to Sidney, "My mom and dad are gonna be so mad at me" and he started crying. I felt bad for Stu imagining his parents yelling at him and giving him a lecture about how he shouldn't be going around murdering his classmates while Stu has his head down crying. Sucks. Parents can be so cruel.

Well, he dug his own grave. It was funny dialogue in the movie, but he did get what he deserved. IMO, it was probably better for him to have died than hear it from his parents ...which is probably what motivated him to go “all out” at the end.

That I wouldn't feel bad for Stu if his parents yelled at him for murdering his classmates.

I don’t think anybody felt bad for Stu. I thought it was universally obvious that his dialogue there was comedically intended (for the audience).
