Set In The 1930's
At the time of the character's creation, it's like having a Batman movie set in 1939.
Don't if any modern Phantom comics are period stuff in the 30's, can tell me down below.
If I remember correctly, the Phantom comic strips were set in the actual time period they were published. However, I believe they were always based around Kit. The originals in the 1930's were based in 1930s. The 1970's where Kit had twins were set in the 1970's
