So at the end of the film when her father threw David out the window it seemed he fell to his death, but hear me carefully, what were the rescue boats doing there. There were certainly some people looking for David apparently as to find his dead body?

The only likeable character was the Dad. And he had to suffer from some kind of Cassandra fate because no one was listening to him.

shareI think that a boat would be the easiest way to get to the body. It's been a long time since I've seen it but it's not like there was a beach around there on which they could walk along to get to the rocks where he landed and a helicopter is pretty expense for a body recovery.
It wasn't a horror so I didn't think he'd survive. Nor did I want him to.
