One of the worst movies ever made

I can't belive this movie was ever produced at all.
I'm going to give this movie 1 in rating, and I've seen the second one too, and I remember that it sucked even more.
oh my god

Wow, all these angry comments and people spending so much energy to dislike a movie >.<

Or the fact people spend so much time making it a point they dont care about others opinions.... heh.

Anyways. The film is a B-grade flick like it gives the impression of. If your into B grade flicks you might like it. But if your one who seems to dislike them... Stick to the New Arrivals Section.

did finestone really have his teeth drilled at the end or was he dreaming, i know his wife didnt really do it

reply

As you seen in Part 2; Dr. Feinstone still has all his teeths, it was sort of his crazy "dreams" yes (the same as the main title-sequence in Dentist 1 and also 2).

I freaking love this movie.

Clark's destiny = Superman, Lex Luthor & Lois Lane.

I vaguely remember the 2nd one from years ago...seems like he had a practice in a small community and was dating a girl with a son. But, I also get the dentist movies confused with Dr. Giggles for some reason. Maybe cause they were both on L.A. Law. Either way, I'm watching Dentist now and it is awful. Probably won't finish it.

One of the best, and most fun, horror movies ever made.

reply

True! One of the most underrated horror films of all time!

You're far too kind to this movie...........and to think some people crucify Ed Wood for his films. Well, at least Ed tried his best.

This is just formulaic bilge of the worst kind.

Going to the dentist is nothing like as painful as watching this muck!

I think this movie is kind of meant to be a dark comedy with a lot of gross out scares. For that reason I don't consider it horrible. Plus there are far far far far worse movies out there. In terms of lighting, sound, acting, camera work etc this movie wasn't all that bad.

This movie was great beginning to end, believe it or not it had lot's of artfulness in it, great camera work, and story. A dark satirical comedy more than a horror.
I don't think women will like this, or sheltered men, but men that have actually experienced some of the joys and miseries of life, will relate with guilty pleasure deeply to certain scenes of this movie. 9/10
