She should’ve ended up with...

I think nobody will agree with me here but I think she should’ve ended up with Al Torres. To me he seemed like the only one who really cared about her strangely. He seemed to really care about managing her career. Obviously he was attracted to her but he was still oddly respectful. From all the characters he seemed like the only one who really seem to have an interest in the best for her. They seem to have chemistry and he seemed to know what she needed. I really wish they had developed this story more as I felt it was going somewhere but they couldnt add that in a mainstream movie where she supposedly had to end up with a young stud.

She shouldn't have ended up as part of a couple.

She isn't interested men unless she can use them to her own ends, and she couldn't get much use out of that small-time chiseler. He wasn't even worth blowing when he was her boss.

I dont think this is true.

The very first guy grew on her quick and she was warming up to him when he did that terrible thing. She actually liked the dancer and the more he pushed the more she willing to give but then he betrayed her and he had nothing to offer. The boss actually liked her and she but the business side got in the way and I think a deep part of her really wanted to keep her true-self hidden so when she found out they knew who she was she had no other choice but to run away. They wanted her to fit in and she wanted to be in so badly but once they figured that out the fun was over and she had to leave. The Top Girl dancer had some intense moments with her but I think she was just not really into girls and she couldn’t relate to what she was as she was the queen of the spectacle and once she had reached that she knew, knew what it took, and she had to maintain it for life she didn’t accept that cause that wasn’t her in reality. She hated being a phoney though the industry was loaded with it and once she figured that out she wanted out, she had evolved.
