shareOne of the things I remember about seeing this movie in the theater when it came out as a kid, was that not only were my mom, sister, and I holding on to each other and crying hysterically (during the plank walk scene), but there was a full-grown man sitting by us who was bawling his eyes out.

shareI am a proud owner of this film on DVD! It's one of my favorite films of all time! Oh, I also love Lawn Dogs, which share certain elements with A Little Princess. I highly recommend it! It's my humble opinion that guys who categorically dismiss these kinds of stories are missing out on some of the best treasures the world can offer.
