I enjoyed this movie as well. It has a nice story and is a nice break from movies with a ton of violence, death and sad endings! I enjoyed the way the film was shot as well.
My favorite scene is when Lottie is screaming to distract the teacher and as soon as the coast is clear she stops screaming and is happy and skipping down the stairs singing a happy song! Also the look on the milkman's face when he realizes his true love is going to leap from the window into his arms and she lands on top of him.

I dislike all things girly, from soap operas to My Little Pony. However, this movie is one of my favorites, if not, my favorite movie ever.

Once you are in IMDB, forever it will dominate your destiny

Yes, there is something in this movie. I preffer serious movies, mostly dramas, but this movie really got me.

I sit alone watching it when I have the house to myself. Keeps me feeling worthwhile.

I wish I had been an extra in any of Natalie Gregory's work.

Dude. I'm a 24 yr old guy and this movie makes me shed big ugly man tears lol. Well not literally. But this movie is totally awesome. I can get into any movie that is well made regardless of subject matter. However, on top of recognizing its quality it is just really entertaining.

Most of all, I really love the soul behind the father's character. A man forced to leave the only thing he has left to enter a horrible war. Losing his memory. Fighting to regain his memory and finally regaining what was lost. I really could understand his character and the suspense at the end is awesome as you wait on the edge of your seat to see if he will remember or not.

Miss Minchin was one evil betch also. One of the best villains ever. Every movie benefits from having a classic villain to drive the stakes of the story higher. I also liked that they hinted at Miss Minchin not being all bad also. It humanized her and it was revealed in such an understated way.

It was also directed by Alfonso Cuaron! I didn't notice until years after seeing this movie. I saw Children of Men and was blown away and thought it was very cool to see he did this also. He demonstrates a huge range to be able to direct these two vastly different films extremely well.

Milk Man for the win.
