It is Minnie Driver, but I don’t recall any singing. She was in the scene at Valentin Zukovsky‘s when they were strangling a cat on stage.

yes, that's the scene. she was dancing. i had it on mute so i assumed she was singing. she appeared to be doing karaoke.

Unfortunately, she WAS singing.

sure, i just always find it interesting when i see a name actor in an old movie playing a minor role before they made it big. It was the year after goldeneye when she was in good will hunting, which launched her (imo)
