I loved this when it came out but now, not so much.

I saw this twice in the theaters and then many times on VHS and DVD. I hadn't watched it in years, but when I did watch it again yesterday, it just struck me as very pretentious and self-consciously arty. It's like the first Hipster Western. Some very good visual images, but the story has gone stale for me.
