Many Marvel characters have been adapted throughout the numerous Spider-Man franchises, yet some were far better in Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
My top 10 characters who were better,
1. Mary Jane. She is not a jerk like Raimi's Mary Jane.
2. Doc Ock who was somewhat unsympathetic which I like.
3. Harry Osborn. At least he didn't have amnesia and was more of a threat than Raimi's Harry who got shafted in favor of Sand Man and Venom.
4. Eddie Brock/Venom. Closer to the comics imo than Topher Grace's take on the character. Plus the symbiote story is told better in the Animated Series.
5. Vulture. Prefer the Old Man trying to make himself young story than him being personally connected to Peter Parker which the movies do too much.
6. Rhino and I should not have to explain why. Though I like ASM 2 Rhino was lame in it.
7. Uncle Ben's killer. Cause it's not an accident.
8. Mysterio. I didn't like him being tied to Tony Stark.
9. Curt Connors/Lizard-Just prefer the tons of development he got in the Animated series.
10. Robbie Robertson cause the movies have done barely anything with him.
