Which prisoners were rehabilitated in your opinion?

Name one or more and explain why.

I'll start.

Red. At no point did he seem a danger to himself or anyone else. He should have been released many years prior. Who else?

I agree with your assessment of Red. He did the crime, spent some time dealing with that, and became the guy that could get something. Andy Frufesne. Didn't do the crime. Shouldn't have gotten the time. But an all-time setup. If this answer doesn't whet your lips, The Kid. He did some crimes, but was just the first modern iteration of young boy doing dumb shit. He didn't have a whole lot to be rehabilitated from, given just a bit more time.

We don’t really have a whole lot to go on with the others.
Take Heywood for example. He seemed like an alright guy when he’s sitting with the boys at the lunch table. But will he murder again if he was out in society? I don’t know. We don’t know the reason for him murdering someone in the first place was so its hard for us to determine if he’d do it again if given the chance.

Take Skeet too. Guy looked like a bit of a creep/pedophile. Would i trust him back in society? I don’t know.

As far was what you said about Red I believe you’re correct. He comes across as a genuinely good level headed individual and you can all but guarantee that he’ll be a straight arrow on the outside.

Boggs.

Ain’t no way he’ll be hurting people anymore from that chair he’s in.

If did start to get outta line all someone has to do is take his straw away and he’d starve to death.
