I just rewatched this, haven’t seen it since probably 1998 and I think it’s still a great movie after all these years. The jokes come off as corny, but I still chuckle at them. Were the sequels worth watching if I enjoyed the first movie? I remember seeing the trailers at the time of release, but I always thought a sequel wasn’t needed and looked like a “Direct to DVD” movie.

shareI was in my twenties when this came out and I like it more now than I did then. The second movie is amazing and magical as well and I like it even more, though certain parts were aimed more toward kids. I only saw the third once. I wasn't impressed.
shareI was 8 when this movie came out, and it's still very high on my list of Christmas movies we watch every year :D. The sequel was okay, but it didn't have quite the spark this one did.
shareI just watched The Santa Clause 2 and it had some really good moments that kinda had that feel of the first movie. Will probably watch the third one either tonight or wait until next Christmas. I still need to watch my yearly run of both Die Hard and Christmas Vacation haha.
