What a load of s**t.

Maybe it's just me but I watched this (by accident) last night and couldn't help thinking 'army recruitment propoganda'.

Get a dumb comedian with an even dumber following to make a triumphant American army movie....around the same time that a certain middle eastern skirmish was kicking off....and sit back and wait for the stoned idiots to join up.

What a load of souless, transparent *beep*

Well...I didn't read any of the other posts, I'm just replying to the first post..."Army Recruitment Propaganda"? Obviously! The army lent their own recruits as well as actual military vehicles in return for being able to use this movie as an army recruitment video. As they had expected, recruitment went up by a huge percentage. As was the case with the movie "Stripes".

"A certain Middle Eastern Skirmish was kicking off" and ended three years prior to the release of this film. I don't think the US Millitary needed a propaganda film to replace the 200 troops lost in this 'war'.
