I always enjoyed this film, in particular the reaction of Woody's character to the big city. Can anybody suggest some other "fish out of water" films?

How about Coogan's Bluff starring Clint Eastwood. Also the movies that have kids becoming adults and vice versa.

The obvious one. Crocodile Dundee with Paul Hogan. You can skip the sequels. But the first a man from down under comes to NYC.

This movie is basically a reverse of City Slickers: cowboys from New Mexico go to NYC for an adventure. Looking at the production dates, that was probably the intention.
