Good actors who aren't especially good in this. This was a knock off movie, as others have noted, but nowhere near as good. Worth seeing, though. Not awful.

But the principal actors ARE especially good in this: Madeline Stowe, Ed Harris, Benicio Del Toro, and Charles Dance. I like the atmosphere and intrigue. This is quite an underrated film.

Not really. The acting is good, but the script, direction, and score are very poor.

Agreed, the writing should have been tighter and the direction more interesting.
