he mentions his suspicions that they're all robots in part 1. in part 2 he makes a jedi force joke 10 years after the original star wars and in part 3 he's so interested in a ride called alien attack he sneaks into the control room to watch, and as luck would have it meets some hot pussy doing so.

Eddie was (still is?) a huge Star Trek fan and was almost in the 4th movie (before everyone remembered Superman III lol) .. I guess he's probably also a fan of other scifi stuff so it obviously seeped into his movies - (maybe he's referenced Trek in certain films as well? it wouldn't surprise me to imagine he might've demanded Shatner be in ShowTime lol)
that's right. showtime is a favorite of the more recent murphy films.
shareyes lucas makes a cameo. more so because landis always seems to have director cameos in his films. ray harryhausen, joe dante and john singleton also make a cameo in this. but axl has a scene with lucas and is in one shot with him.
