Such a great movie!

I just finished it. It's a film that's been on my list for years, as I'm a big fan of both Eastwood and Costner.

As you say, it's a very good film. Considering that I almost never hear anyone talk about it, it also seems to be something of a hidden gem. It definitely doesn't have the status of many other films that those guys have worked on.

Costner definitely creates a very sympathetic character here, the kind of man you can root for despite his flaws. He's an actor who fell off my radar for a long time, but little while back I kind of rediscovered him and have been catching up on his filmography.

And my appreciation for Eastwood came later in life, but now I never miss a film he's involved with. It's amazing that even at 88 years old he's still going strong. It's more than amazing really; it's insane. But I'm glad of it and I hope he never retires. I'd much rather him just keel over on set one day and call it both a career and a life. That seems fitting.
