Miranda had no reason to be angry at Daniel.

At the restaurant, it's revealed that Mrs. Doubtfire was indeed Daniel. Miranda being his ex wife, reacted harshly.
But.........Did she really have any reason to get angry and take him to court?

1) He made sure his kids were taken care of.

2) He taught the kids valuable lessons on the importance of priorities and schoolwork. As a result, Chris's grades improved.

3) The house was always clean and dinner was always cooked.

4) Miranda admitted to love having "her" around.

5) The 2 older kids KNEW about "Mrs Doubtfire" but didn't seem to mind and agreed to keep it a secret.

6) He wasn't was a deadbeat dad who tried to kidnap the kids away from her.

Sure, he shouldn't have lied like that, but Mrs. Doubtfire brought out the best in Daniel and everyone noticed it.

Old post but I think everyone is truly missing the point. One reason they probably divorced was because all this crap is probably stuff that WASN'T taking place when they were married - and probably should have been. He went against her in regards to the party decision regarding his son's grades, but as Mrs. Doubtfire suddenly he's on him about the grades and homework. I wouldn't doubt he wasn't cooking or cleaning and having it all nice for her when he got home. Granted, he had another job at the time, but typical male that he probably was he probably didn't do ANY of that. The role of Mrs. Doubtfire just proved he could do it if he wanted to.

Becoming a woman made Daniel a better man.

As I pointed out a year or so ago, if Daniel had been a half-way decent husband (being faithful is only part of being a decent husband), then Miranda wouldn't have fallen out of love with him, wouldn't have divorced him, and we'd have no movie.
