One thing I didn't understand (I was 7 when I last watched this movie, I need to rewatch it) however I didn't understand why he did what he did...

can someone explain? and please don't write something like "he's just evil' XD there had to be SOMETHING else...right?

Yes. This is what makes it compelling because there are people who come from good families and good environments but they're just...evil.

There is no good or evil, only socially (un)wanted behavior.

A lot of kids get very jealous when they get siblings, that*s normal.
Henry got jealous when his sister was born but developed some pretty violent thoughts in his head.
When the other kid came to the family Henry lost it completely.
I think he wanted something like a proof from his mother, that he was the most loved son( because he wanted it to be).
