His aunt sure dresses well

Everything she wears is really classy. She's so put together! Even when she goes to the cliff to think about Henry, her outfit/makeup are so elegant. Not to mention her white bathrobe. And if I'm not mistaken, she doesn't work, she mostly just stays at home all day. I do work and I still don't dress that well.

She definitely dressed very classy! I thought and still do think she is a very pretty lady.

I always assumed the family was just very rich. They live in a huge seaside manor, after all.

The character was definitely meant to be classy modern lady. Also the character was meant to be the best kind of mom if there was such a thing. She was always there to talk but she wasn't smothering and evidently let henry run around town all day except coming home for lunch. With any other kid I would say lucky but that was one kid that needed looking into more often. It was easy for him to keep his dark hobbies a secret.
