Slater..man he was so chilled + in his groove. He just played the part so well + convincingly. That is one dude I would def want to hang around back in high school.

Slater was pretty awesome but my favorite has always been Don. He stole every single scene he was in

Slater was awesome mannnnn. Slaterson. Lol. He's just so f'in chill man. Doesn't haze the freshman, gets along with everyone, actually pretty knowledgable for a stoner lol. Don is a cool guy too I thought the actor playing him was great actually. Wonder what happened to him doesn't even have an IMDb pic :(

Randall Pink. But I still don't see why he was so upset about signing a no drug sheet. At least he wasn't getting tested like I am for my job.

Mike is the one I related to most simply because I was him in high school. But yeah, Slater would be my favorite if not for that. I love all his monologues, especially the George Washington bit

Melvin seemed pretty chill also and got along with everyone. He even shared his sixer with everyone at the pool hall! This movie could have used a little more diversity, though.

Definitely Slater. Pink was too goody two shoes Gary Stu.

Slater was everything.

I know people think he's creepy but Wooderson is my favorite, He just seems like a fun guy to hang around with. Pink comes in at a close second.
I would like to think on a "where are they now" kinda scale that Cynthia is the one who was able to settle him down. I think this movie deserves an actual sequel in that sense, perhaps a class reunion set in 2002.

a tie between Slater and Pink, those two are IMO the most likable characters in the film.

Not my favorite character, but Tony reminded me of me. I looked a lot like Tony, and when the pledge girl said she'd do what he wanted, he sorta played it off. He doesn't want her to be demeaned in front of him, he's a good guy -- and man, that girl was def cute.

But I guess my favorite guy was Pink. He was Alpha, but he was cool with everyone, he was just a good guy who happened to be talented and good looking, but he didn't make it rule how he felt about the other students. At heart, the guy was a sweet heart.

@snepts I agree with you 100%. I was also Tony in high school. And I think you nailed it regarding Pink being cool with everyone. i.e. chatting with the old couple after the baseball game. He helped break up the fight between Mike and Clint....and later called Mike, "Ali". Obviously how he treated Mitch. He never seemed to let his talent or looks cause him to be arrogant.
