I liked her nude scene (attacked by the tree) when I was younger. Feels odd looking back given how the scene plays out but hey boobs are boobs. Also she's kind of cute in a 'girl next door' kind of way.

reply

she does look good in that scene. i do like her.

reply

And how about that special effect they use when the vine wrapped itself around her tit?? No CGI required and still incredibly realistic.

reply

The effects were good yeah. The Evil Dead (1981) as a whole is very impressive when you realize how young and inexperienced they all were. Plus the low budget they had.

Just a bunch of college aged pals making a little horror film together. Sam Raimi was 22 years old when the film was released, only 21 when they were making it.

reply

Oh, I know. Extremely impressive. I loved listening to all the commentaries and watching the BTS etc on the DVD.

Always blows my mind when I remember how young they all were. What they accomplished was amazing. Great practical effects, quirky and imaginative camera work, an authentically creepy atmosphere. Some people question the acting of the cast but they feel like real people as opposed to some overly charismatic perfect hollywood characters. Makes them more relatable and believable so it works to the films advantage.

It was the goriest movie I had seen up until that time. I thought it was glorious and very very well done. Especially the stop motion animation when the demons were disintegrating. I fully agree about the mind-blowingness of it all!!

The correct answer is Dana DeLorenzo from ASH VS. THE EVIL DEAD.

I've never watched the show. I really should given I love all 4 of the films.

reply

If you love the movies, it's must-see--an absolute blast from beginning to unfortunately-premature end.

Have to edit your link to get rid of everything that comes after the .png because the image is not showing up.

reply

I did, but now, it links to a much smaller image.

reply

The image wasn't opening at all. It was just showing the grey x-ed out box representing no image. I've seen that a few times recently. Something about whatever that other stuff is after the .png or .jpg ends up making it not want to open for some reason.
