When I was 15/16, around the period of early 00s, I was OBSESSED with this movie!

Yes folks, that's right, "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" (1992), around that time period, has REALLY made an impression on me. Yes, I WAS familiar with the series and even at the time, with director David Lynch himself, of whom I am no doubt mostly a huge fan of (and "Blue Velvet" (1986) by the way is one of my top 5 favorite films EVER), and I have already around that time seen or peeked the likes of Blue Velvet, Lost Highway (1997), "Wild at Heart" (1990) and The Elephant Man (1980) but this is a movie that I was really hooked on.

I found it undeniably touching, definitely well made and acted, disturbing, at times strangely and frighteningly alluring and in general, after having seen it around 2001 on FilmFour channel, I literally couldn't stop thinking about it for 2 years or so. Anyone else felt similar?

And yes I still consider it a great movie and 9/10 I will give it, its one of Lynch's top 8 best films for sure. And I have to say, they rarely make films like THIS anymore.

Plus, I was a bit too young to purchase the DVD or video copy and I only started to get hang of the internet, but I went from school to one record store and BOUGHT its soundtrack, and I was listening to it a lot especially the brilliant Julee Cruise song featured in the film "Questions in the World of Blue", and it is through this movie albeit not until late 2002 or so, I discovered Julee Cruise. Oh yes.

And I felt indeed very sorry for what happens to Laura Palmer, both before but also during the surreal and disturbing murder. And what's also interesting is that despite the film's supernatural and surreal tone throughout, I could very much relate to and feel its tragic aspects on a reality level.
