I remember the scene when the Penguin announced he planned to drown all of Gotham's first-borns made me break out into a cold sweat and feel like I was going to pass out! Seriously, nothing disturbed me as a child more than watching Batman Returns.

Batman is one of DC's darkest heroes, and all of his movies appear to reflect that by each including at least one incredibly disturbing scene.

I WAS 10 WHEN IT CAME OUT...SAW IT AT THE THEATER...DID NOT DISTURB ME...THE SPA CLUB SCENE IN HOWARD THE DUCK DID THOUGH...IT STILL DOES.
