Is the you can't read in dreams thing true?

Because I had the weirdest dream today, someone I knew had had a seizure, and I was trying to explain to everyone what a seizure was, and I needed to translate because I am latinamerican and I couldn't for the life of me remember the translation, then I tried googling and I could type it but I really couldn't read or even find a translation.

I'm pretty sure I've read in a dream before, I remember waking up and thinking of that particular Batman episode straight away! So I guess Bruce is wrong

reply

It's true. In my dreams, text is difficult to read and changes into different text every time I look at it.

reply

I have read things in my dreams so it's not true.

Was there something in a Batman TAS episode about this?

reply

It was the one where Scarecrow made Bruce think his parents were still alive, if I recall.

Also, I've had trouble reading in my dreams.

reply

Ah yes, brilliant episode. But I think it was actually the Mad Hatter, not Scarecrow.

reply

Come to think of it, that would be more his forte’.
