This, or Prince of Thieves?
Which of these two 1990s Robin Hood movies do you prefer, and why?
Inquiring minds want to know!
Back when they were new, I have to admit, I preferred Prince of Thieves because of the production values, budget, soundtrack, direction, etc.
But with the perspective of time, I think this is the far superior movie. In the hands of a first-rate director, I think the story could have put it in the first rank of Robin Hood films.

Ultimately they are two very different movies, though. One is very Hollywood; the other is very British.
