The main reason I liked The Last Boy Scout so much was because of the protagonists. I adore action movies where the heroes have boring and/or crappy lives but they still find in them the will to stop the villains or save people.
Can anyone recomend me more action movies with these kind of protagonists?

Anything written by Shane Black. "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang." A good start. "The Long Kiss Goodnight" is fun.
shareThe Die Hard Trilogy and the Dalton Bond films are good. Olympus Has Fallen is a solid recent contender.
For me "Into the Night" is much more fun, has more danger, lots of cool cameos (including a very dangerous David Bowie) and even includes Bruce McGill in a much more interesting role.
