favorite line

I think my favorite line was when James Woods says to the chief (after being irritated by MJF when he first comes into the station).. 'NOt if you taped my tongue to the tailpipe of a car and dragged me over broken glass'.. LOL or something like that. James Woods was so good in this movie!

Gotta agree with CharmingChrispy!

"Don't over-egg the pudding, Willie"

reply

"Why don't you go tie your dick in a knot?"

Never give up! Never surrender!

reply

The homeless guy to Nick Lang: "I may have to kill you later."

Remember, Jerry, it's not a lie if you believe it.

reply

"Maybe when my a$$hole learns to chew gum."

reply

Nick Lang: Oh, don't you take that tone with me!

Just the way Michael says it ... Makes me laugh.

reply

"It's like trying to talk to my ex-wife."

Who says violence is not the answer?

reply

at the end when Langs shoe falls off on the billboard,"Ah *beep* that was a farrahgoma."

reply

moss: 'would you STOP hitting me in the face?' <throws nick into the popcorn machine> 'you got a minute?'

reply

Nick Lang impersonating Susan - "I thought you were quitting for me!"

or the part where Nick is handcuffed to the sofa bed... "I can't even go to the bathrooooooooooooooom!" as well as "I'll be there...as long as I'm not still handcuffed to the god damn sofaaaaaaa!"

The delivery is what makes them so funny.

reply

Moss:Dick-less Tracy.

And basically most of the dialogue spoken between Fox and Woods at the bar when he,s impersonating Susan.Laughed my arse off.

And not a spoken line, but I love how Fox,s character desperately craves making a gritty film and then after doing so,the title of the film is revealed as The Good,The Badge and The Ugly.So cheesy and typical of Nick Lang.

reply

"Not if you tied my tongue to your tail-pipe and drove me eighty miles-an-hour NAKED across a field of broken glass."

Yeah, that's one of my favourite lines, not just from this film, but ever. It comes in so abruptly after several minutes of James Woods being silent while he's heckled by Michael Fox, and his delivery is superb!

To this day, whenever somebody does something stupid I still say "You sharpshooter, we heard about you!" For that line to stay with me for 21 years it must be a good one.

The other part that kills me is when Nick is on the billboard about to fall, and he start waving his arms around going SSUUUUSSAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!! The way he does it, and the look on his face are hysterical.

"This is America, and you've got the right to hate who you want, so lets start bustin heads!!!"

reply

"Pinch off my daily loaf."

reply

Bravo, Bill!
