Best moment in the film...

...was when B&T are playing the games in Hell trying to earn their lives back. Death loses a third time and basically attacks the board:

BILL: "Best of seven?"
DEATH: "Damn right!"

reply

I love that entire sequence, the different games with Death.

Some other good ones...

When Evil Bill & Ted are trying to run over the cat, and end up launching themselves through the windshield and through Missy's window. When I was a kid that scene made me laugh harder than any other time I can remember in my life, sober that is.

For some reason I always crack up at the party when they're talking about Missy being with Ted's dad, and Bill is looking all depressed. When Ted says "You're dad looks bad" or something like that and Bill says "I know", he's looking down all bummed, and then he slams his drink. That cracks me up.

The entire end montage is hilarious, but my favorite part is the magazine cover that shows Death winning the Indy 500, and that he had no idea he could run that fast.

And of course the BEST moment.......... "What a sh!thead" - Sir James Martin

"See you guys at the 10 year prison reunion" - Ben Richards

reply

Sir James Martin's appearance.

Yes, there's many great moments in this movie, but Martin's delivery of "STATION!" and "What a shlthead" is just legendary.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

Just to be clear, that wasn't hell where they were playing. It was some sort of limbo, separate from heaven and hell.

And I can understand why Death was upset. He's never lost a game in his entire existence, but he continually loses to two guys who do not seem all that bright. That said, Bill and Ted did have God on their side, so Death never had a chance.

Prof. Farnsworth: Oh. A lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-My-Own-Grandpa!

reply

When Death passes the smoker and says "See you real soon..."

reply

Yes, that always cracks me up.

The best of 7 quote is my favorite.. Others include when they are falling and keep screaming and then get tired of screaming while still falling
The end montage was great!

Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

That's my favorite part too, I love the way he says "You have sunk my Battleship" Lol

The best of seven .... Damn right had me in stitches the first time I heard it.

Whenever my family plays Battleship or Clue we immediately ask "Best of Seven?"

reply

Oh man, this is all bringing tears to my eyes - of laughter. This is such an underrated movie.
