Was this show cancelled?

it ended on abc after season 6. and then returned on cbs for a final season which was really good and well written. only the youngest son didn't return and cody returned for one episode.

the last line on the show was frank saying to carol ".. wait til you hear what the toaster has to say about your buns."

they were going to move to a better house for the same pay they would be paying for their house now but decided to stay in the old house where all their memories were.

the first episode ever, coincidentally, began with a talk about food, cereal, but not in a sexual way.

the bun joke was actually great because most jokes were about carol's breasts but her butt was always nicer.
